Kostas Sloukas is already a two times Euroleague champion, but this time with Fenerbahce everything seems new: “It’s like the first time. What the team achieved is already an accomplishment and I am happy to be part of this team”.
Speaking to Eurohoops the Greek guard who decided to leave Olympiacos last summer for Fenerbahce, admitted that his experience can be a valuable asset to his new team, but on the other hand things are simple. He just has to follow Obradovic: “The point is to do what the coach asks. That’s what team means and we have the best coach according to his results, we have a lot of talent and the point is to do my job, if this mean scoring, passing, or playing defense”.
So, the challenge of winning a third Euroleague and get into a very exclusive club of players makes him eager to win the title? “The motive to win a third Euroleague is great, but for the moment I just want to play one more final. I want to be in the final like last year and like two back to back seasons before”.
