In the gym where he created a dynasty with Panathinaikos, Zeljko Obradovic after four failed attemps finally got the road win against Panathinaikos and got the break for Fenerhace.

“Zoc” as he was called by many during his stay in Athens embraced Thanasis Giannakopoulos, former owner of the team and uncle of Dimitris Giannakopoulos and then spoke about the game: “We talked a lot with my players during halftime. we changed our defense in the second half and we found many transition plays. We avoided silly turnovers but we have to play even better at Game 2. It’s very hard for me to play against Panathinaikos in this gym, but that’s life”.

A little bit latter in the press conference –  which you can watch in full – he added: “I think that tonight Kostas Sloukas did a great job, despite not scoring one point. Also I don’t understand why people talk too much about the fact that the Final Four will be played in Istanbul. The best team wins and I don’t that the location is that important, or such a big factor”.
