Giannakopoulos decided to punish the players by voiding their aiplane tickets to Athens and booking a bus for the return from Istanbul to Greece after their 3-0 sweep from Fenerbahce.
Most of the players were informed by the media for this decision and naturally they reacted. Many of them already booked their own airplane tickets to Athens and of course they are refusing to take a bus and travel a distance of more than 1.000 km.
The situation remains unresolved at the moment and nobody can predict the ramifications.
