The answer to the “who is the EuroLeague Best Defender?” question seemed fairly easy to the writers of Eurohoops. But do you agree with our choice?

Not that there weren’t some writers that had a… different opinion on the matter!

The previous winner of the award, CSKA Moscow’s Kyle Hines, was picked twice (2), while his two-time predecessor, Anadolu Efes’s Bryant Dunston, followed one vote. As many as Crvena Zvezda guard Charles Jenkins.

What do you think?

Ekpe Udoh (Fenerbahce Istanbul): 19 votes
12 pts | 7.6 rbs | 1.9 as | 1 st | 2.1 bl | 1.2 to | 31:38 min | 19.9 PIR

Fenerbahce’s 30-year-old American power forward/center is a… source of terror in both keys, doing his piece in offense with ease and with even more ease in defense, where he has already equaled the best ever record (his own from last year) of 61 blocks in a season.

Kyle Hines (CSKA Moscow): 2 votes
8.3 pts | 4.2 rbs | 0.6 as | 0.8 st | 0.5 bl | 1.4 to | 20:13 min | 9.8 PIR

The 31-year-old American… pocket-sized center started the season as the current holder of this award and he has helped CSKA Moscow considerably in this department, even if he’s declined in almost all averages.
