While in Belgrade in order to receive a second opinion regarding his physical condition, Miroslav Raduljica and Olimpia Milano reached an agreement to part ways.

According to Novosti, the Serbian center agreed to become a free agent after receiving a sum of 250.000 euros as compensation. The club would need to pay him a salary of 900.000 for the next season, according to the two-year deal he signed last summer.

Raduljica averaged 8.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in EuroLeague but he saw the trust of coach Jasmin Repesa and his playing time getting more and more reduced as the season progressed.

While he played in the first round of the Italian League playoffs against Orlandina, he didn’t participate in any of the first three games of the semifinals vs Trento. He then decided to go to Belgrade to be further examined regarding his deteriorating physical state with the permission of the club, only for the two sides to terminate their deal today.
