Dragan Milosavljevic will be the first transfer of Unicaja Malaga ahead of 2017/2018 as reported by Spanish website Diario Sur. He has agreed to a two-year deal with the club and if the deal is finalized he will return to EuroLeague after 2014.

The only thing remaining for the signing to be officially announced is a medical examination that will reveal the status of an elbow injury that kept him sidelined in the last stretch of the season with Alba Berlin.

Milosavljevic, 28, is currently in Belgrade where he works on his rehabilitation surrounded by members of former team Partizan Belgrade.

Unicaja Malaga and head coach Joan Plaza have been quite interested in the player for some time, taking a liking on his versatility and the ability to perform efficiently as both a “2” and a “3”

Milosavljevic completed the 2016/2017 EuroCup season averaging 12.9 points, 3.6 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game.
