Maccabi had a very tough season in Euroleague, as players and coaches came and went. Mizrahi acknowledges the situation his team is at and has bigger plans for the upcoming season.

As he explains in the letter: “Indeed this season was not an easy one to bare, and that’s an understatement. An unexpected injury plague of our key players alongside professional errors committed by us have hurt us dearly, and that’s in spite of the fact we have put an extremely high budget in favor of signing top level EuroLeague players. We have learned from our mistakes and such will not be committed by us again.”

The lessons we’ve learned during this season have brought us to decide on the following: In order to strengthen the relations with our fans we’ve decided to let allow the upper cheering stands one level down so that everyone can enjoy an improved cheering experience.

It has also been decided, that from now on the responsibility of building the roster will be the one of the head coach and the general manager who will work together and under no circumstances will there be interference by us. After sitting in my chair (that has become somewhat of a symbol) next to the team’s bench in the past 48 years, I’ve decided to relocate so that I can enjoy the experience with you…our amazing fans. Rest assure, that we are working harder than ever as we are putting Human, Professional and financial resources and that is for the sole purpose of restoring former glory so that Maccabi can get back to where it belongs.

To show our gratitude for your loyalty we have decided to take down the prices by 10% (average) The Seasonal ticket holders (for both the EuroLeague and domestic competition) – will enjoy all 15 EuroLeague home games and the quarterfinals as well. The season ticket holders will also include all the domestic regular season and playoff (home games).
