Maccabi Tel Aviv officially announced the signing of American forward DeShaun Thomas with a 1+1 deal.
Thomas, 25, arrives to the Israeli club from Anadolu Efes. He averaged 7.3 points and 1.4 rebounds during 14 minutes per game in the previous EuroLeague season while Efes came one win short of the Final Four.
Throughout his career he has also played in EuroLeague with Nanterre and Barcelona. The next season will be his fourth in the top-tier European competition.
Thomas becomes the seventh new addition in Maccabi‘s large renovation that so far also includes Alex Tyus, Pierre Jackson, Jake Cohen, Michael Roll, Karam Mashour and John DiBartolomeo.
