Sebas Saiz, 23, will sign a contract with Real Madrid, according to ARA. cat, but will not join the roster of the “Blancos” for the upcoming season.
The Spanish power forward will instead be loaned to Zaragoza that has been quite interested in acquiring him. In fact, Zaragoza had made an offer for the player earlier this summer but the offer was matched by Estudiantes, that owned his Spanish rights, as MARCA reports.
Saiz has been invited to the Spanish national team preparation camp by head coach Sergio Scariolo. He comes from a four-year stint with the Ole Miss Rebels of the University of Mississipi. He averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds during his senior year but wasn’t selected in the 2017 NBA Draft.
