The Reds announced a one year deal with Hollis Thompson and specially after this move, the last season’s finalists are considered again among the main contenders for the EuroLeague title.
Hollis Thompson brings on the table his shooting ability, the only thing that in theory was missing from the roster of Olympiacos. The 26 years old forward moves to Europe for the first time in his career and the main question at this point is what role he will have in a roster which is already full of talent in every position.
In theory Thompson can play both the shooting guard and the small forward position, however in Europe it’s more than probable that his natural position will be that of the small forward.
“I play both positions and what I like to do is score”, said the player himself to Olympiacosbc.gr. “I am really excited, I didn’t expect such a proposal and I have heard and learned the best about the club and Greece. I can’t wait for the season to start”.
