Baskonia officially announced the addition of American swingman Matt Janning with a two-month contract.
The 29-year-old player will cover the gap left in Baskonia‘s roster following the injury of Jordan McRae, since he shares similar characteristics, particularly when it comes to his 3-point shooting efficiency.
Janning comes from Lokomotiv Kuban and averaged 11.3 points, 2.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game in last season’s Eurocup. He carries a three-year EuroLeague experience having played for Montepaschi Siena (2012-2013), Anadolu Efes (2014-2015) and Lokomotiv with which he reached the 2016 Final Four.
