Here’s what Kostas Sloukas said during an interview with Greek TV Show “Goals without Borders” on:

His decision to sign with Fenerbahce in 2015:

“A humane conversation with Zeljko Obradovic convinced me that the best choice was to move to Fenerbahce. We talked a bit about what I’m thinking and we agreed. The coach is a great individual. The way a player handles pressure is personal. I’m nervous about my creativity. Sometimes I succeed, others I don’t. It’s important to stay faithful to Obradovic‘s plan.”

Winning the EuroLeague:

“We had enormous pressure to win the title so the satisfaction was huge. But I felt a bit different facing Olympiacos and some friends.I realize how it is to lose in a Final since I had lost in the previous season. This is why I entered the locker room without thinking about it and without acting. To honestly congratulate them and wish them success in the future”

Staying with Fenerbahce:

“It’s very important when Zeljko Obradovic wants you. When he wants to build a strong team with me.”

Trying his luck in the NBA:

“I’m not thinking about the NBA. I don’t have the qualifications to play there. This what I’m saying now. I don’t know what I’ll be saying in 2-3 years. I’m fine here and I’m trying to improve for my team day by day.”

Panathinaikos‘ offer:

“I might think about it differently in three years. Olympiacos was my family but after five years, no one knows what’ll happen. I’m looking at my obligations with Fenerbahce and nothing else.:”
