Unicaja’s head coach Joan Plaza talked to the press after their third straight lost game in EuroLeague: “I am very proud of my players. The attitude and the delivery to go back after that first quarter. We not only tied the, we put ourselves ahead, but we lost because of talent. I think the image given was very good. Each team has won two quarters but in the end, we lacked strength“.

Ηe noted the importance of not condemning the loss and focusing on the positive side: “It is very easy to judge players, coaches, and clubs, but we each have our limitations and shortcomings. We must learn to live with them. We must stay with the positive stuff and I think it is the way forward“, sentenced.

Coach Dimitris Itoudis wanted to congratulate his team for this road victory: “We expected this was gonna be a fight, Malaga is such a team with a lot of intensity“.
