Τhe Lithuanian coach commented on Arturas Milaknis’ game-winning shot, which was agitating at least: “I got angry because Ι didn’t think it makes sense. We had to control the game. But as a result, every shot that went in is a good shot.”

In addition to that, Jasikevicius mentioned: “Milaknis was waiting for his moment. He really had a very rough first half of the game, and managed to come back from it against a championship team. He has a really strong character.”

He noted the importance of the victory against Fenerbahce: “I think we played a really good game offensively. Defensively, I don’t know if my rules are too difficult for my players or something, but we don’t follow the game plan. But having said that, to beat absolutely the best team in Europe, it’s a great situation for us.”

Though the coach is still hoping for more improvement: “I am hoping my players can build from this. So far we haven’t been able to build on a good performance. I am hoping they can build.”
