Crvena Zvezda escaped with win from Valencia after trailing by 13 in the last quarter

Valencia Basket lost against Crvena Zvezda its eighth consecutive game in EuroLeague. And Coach Txus Vidorreta was visibly disappointed after the match:

As he said: “I think we made a great effort in a game that was complicated by his physical ability. We had to adapt to it with the injuries and the calendar that we have. This is a game, and in a game there are streaks. I think the more you try, the more luck you have. But we are not been lucky. I’m a little frustrated. We deserve to have 6 or 7 victories in EuroLeague but we only have 3. The streak of lost games where the other team makes a comeback is weighing us psychologically. If we have such great advantages and then we lose them is my responsibility“.

On the other hand, coach Dusan Alimpijevic was very proud of his team: “It was a very tough and interesting game tonight. We showed that we are physically and mentally strong to come back from a thirteen-point deficit. I wish Valencia to get out of this situation because I really respect them“.
