The Brose Bamberg head coach stated that he wasn’t at all satisfied with the referees in Kaunas during the post-game press conference.

After his introductory statement, the Bamberg coach appeared clearly unsatisfied: “Every summer we have a meeting with the coaching department of EuroLeague. So, they’re trying to ‘clean the game’, trying to respect the shooters, the offensive players.”

Trinchieri explained further on his statement: “I saw one Zalgiris player holding Wright from his uniform during the whole game. Calls? Zero!”

Dorell Wright did an excellent job tonight, one that his coach thinks wasn’t respected: “And I believe that’s something that goes against what they told me. I’m a little caught in between, because you cannot hold a player that was very hot tonight, and you cannot hold him from his uniform. That’s unsportsmanlike. They have to show respect and call the foul.”

“If the direction of EuroLeague is to clean the game, then I expect a clean basketball game”, he concluded.
