The head coach of Brose Bamberg, who seemed furious towards the end of the game against Anadolu Efes, did not attend the post-game conference after his team’s loss.
The initial impression was that Trinchieri left the gym, while Anadolu Efes officials stated that he wasn’t attending the presser.
However, according to Bamberg‘s side, Trinchieri was at the press conference. However, the hosts have not kept the order starting with their coach. That’s when Trinchieri left. The German club has reported the incident to the EuroLeague, as the Bylaws state that the guest coach comes first.
The Brose Bamberg coach could possibly face a sanction for his refusal, however, in light of what happened, this may not be the case.
