After leaving Barcelona, Tyrese Rice is in China where he’ll join the Shenzen Leopards according to Eurohoops sources. He will replace two-time EuroLeague top scorer Keith Langford.

The 2014 EuroLeague Final Four MVP is expected to be officially registered with the club in the next days, once Langford‘s paperwork is done and the latter’s contract is terminated.

Rice, 30, signed with Barcelona in 2016. Following the 2016-2017 campaign, he was demoted to the B’ squad in the beginning of this season since he wasn’t included in the plans of new head coach Sito Alonso.

The American guard averaged 13 points and 4.9 assists per game in 30 games of the 2016-2017 EuroLeague.
