Unicaja Malaga guard Nemanja Nedovic suffered a sprained ankle in Saturday’s game against San Pablo Burgos that will keep him out for a period of two to three weeks, the club announced.
The Serbian player will thus miss the upcoming crucial EuroLeague games against Baskonia (2/2) at home and Khimki Moscow (8/2) on the road. Malaga is 8-12 in the competition. His participation in the Copa Del Rey that begins on February 15 is currently considered questionable.
Nedovic is the leading scorer (15.8 points per game) and passer (5.8 assists per game) of his team in both EuroLeague and the Spanish League (12.5 points, 4.1 assists per game).
