The interesting part is that only Simone Pianigiani believes that Panathinaikos will qualify over Real Madrid, while the opinions are divided in the duel between Zalgiris Kaunas and Olympiacos. To be exact Ataman, Plaza and Vidorreta believe that Zalgiris will qualify for the Final Four.
And even Pianigiani’s take on Panathinaikos‘ win is quite balanced: “Panathinaikos 3-2. This is a series for the ages, very close. Real’s talent is huge, but since I expect a Game 5, I don’t see Panathinaikos losing at OAKA two series in a row. So I give my prediction, but it’s very, very close.”
