Luka Doncic, the best young player in the Euroleague and part of the All-EuroLeague First Team, summed up the importance of the game in Belgrade.
“The most important thing for me, more than me taking the MVP, would be to win the EuroLeague because it would be incredible. And combined with winning Eurobasket, it would complete the perfect season”, said Doncic.
“I’m training well, the team is also training hard and I think we’re ready. Friday’s game has to be approached like every other, with a lot of punch and motivation”, he added
As for how Real can deal with the Army Team, Doncic commented: “Against CSKA you have to play with intensity, be good on the rebound and not lose the ball. You have to play with your heart. We’re concerned about them all, but especially Sergio Rodríguez and De Colo because they have incredible quality, although everyone has great talent and we have to be careful. I want to thank the fans for the support they always give us and I hope we can return with the EuroLeague”.
