A clearly emotional Nemanja Nedovic who cried on the hands of the fans and of his family talked to the press and he confirmed his departure.

According to “Malaga Hoy” Nedovic said: “The day after tomorrow I will sit down with Misko (ed.note: Raznatovic, his agent) and also with the people of the club, but honestly I think it ‘s the moment for me to go. It’s the moment for something else, for a new stage, I do not know where, but if I leave this is not goodbye to Malaga, but more like see you later. I have seen my mother being sad, Mina crying and it’s hard to see your family crying. Malaga has treated us very well, it has changed my life. I came here as a child who did not have basketball as a priority after a bad experience in the NBA and a bad year in Valencia and I had an amazing reception”.

According to Eurohoops sources, the Serb guard has already a deal in place with Milano, however, his emotional connection with Unicaja can’t be denied. As he said: “Coach Joan Plaza loved me when nobody wanted me, when I was about to return to the Red Star and everyone helped me to improve on and off the court. I have really enjoyed these three years here, it is a place that will always be in my heart. As I said, the people here have treated me like no other, as I’ve never felt in my life. I felt at home and it’s hard to say goodbye, so I’ll say “see you later” and I hope people will enjoy basketball and Unicaja in the future. ”
