Anadolu Efes is finalizing a two-year contract with Serbian guard Vasilije Micic, according to Eurohoops sources. The deal between the two sides isn’t done yet but is very close to completion.
Micic, 24, completed the season today (18/6) in Lithuania by winning the LKL championship title with powerhouse Zalgiris Kaunas. He contributed six rebounds and four assists in the decisive Game 5 win over Lietuvos Rytas on the road.
In 2017-2018, Micic averaged 7.7 points, 4.2 assists and 2.2 rebounds over 22 minutes per game in EuroLeague to help Zalgiris reach the Final Four for the first time since 1999. He had some key performances in the quarterfinal series vs. Olympiacos with 9.3 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
This will be Micic’s second stint in Turkey, following the 2016-2017 season which he spent with Tofas Bursa.
