Anadolu Efes and Darussafaka held a meeting on Monday to discuss Scottie Wilbekin’s situation, though Efes is not willing to pay the according buy-out.

According to Eurohoops sources, Darussafaka is asking for $1M as a buyout and doesn’t accept to lower their demands. Efes, on the other hand, is not willing to pay that amount of money.

The player’s side had reached a deal with Efes on Sunday, though he still belongs to the 7DAYS EuroCup champions, it’s the team that makes the call.

Adding to the mix is also another Turkish Airlines EuroLeague team, in Maccabi Tel Aviv. Maccabi is waiting for the negotiations between the two sides to be over and according to reports states that they’re able to cover the buy-out and sign the player.
