In what turns out to be the most peculiar serial of this summer, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv has a deal with Darussafaka and the advantage to get Scottie Wilbekin, but nothing is finished yet.

As Eurohoops reported Scottie Wilbekin has a deal with Anadolu Efes, but Darussafaka and Anadolu Efes didn’t agree on the buy out.

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv took advantage of the situation and has a deal with Darussafaka about the buy out, giving in total $1 million to the Turkish club. However, this is not enough in order to get Wilbekin who already has a commitment with Anadolu Efes for a two year deal which will pay him in total $3 million.

That’s why despite the deal between Maccabi and Darussafaka, nothing is yet finished. It remains to be seen what may be the next move of Anadolu Efes, or if Maccabi will manage to get also a deal with the player.

For the moment, even if the Israelis has the advantage, it’s hard to predict the final outcome of the talks between all four sides. And while it’s obvious that Darussafaka would prefer to give Wilbekin – who has not a fixed buy out in his contract – to Maccabi and not to local rival Efes, Efes needs the player badly due to his recently acquired Turkish passport.
