Fenerbahce is signing American combo guard Erick Green to a deal for the remainder of the season, according to Ismail Senol of bEIN Sports. Green is expected to replace injured guard Tyler Ennis (out indefinitely) on the roster of Fenerbahce.
Green comes from two straight – and three overall – years of playing in EuroLeague, including a run to the EuroLeague Final in 2016-2017 with Olympiacos Piraeus. The Reds and Green had then fallen to Fenerbahce in the title game.
In the previous season, Green played in Spain with Valencia. He averaged 14.4 points, 1.7 assists, 1.7 rebounds in EuroLeague plus 12 points per game in the Spanish ACB League.
UPDATE: Green announced his signing with Fenerbahce by tweeting “Excited to be heading to Fener”
