Anadolu Efes Istanbul picked up an important victory against Panathinaikos OPAP Athens and improved to an impressive 5-2 record, good enough for the fifth place in the standings.

Minutes after the victory, Bryant Dunston who had a historic performance, as he surpassed Thomas Huertel for the club’s all-time leading scorer in EuroLeague, talked to Eurohoops about this accomplishment and the team’s victory over the Greek champions: “We did everything we wanted to do. Defensively we played with a lot of energy, and battled on the rebounds. Offensively we shared the ball and this is the type of game we are capable of playing, but we just have to keep playing more consistently.”

He also talked about the team’s home court: “The last couple of years, our home court was not as strong as it could be. The fans are showing a great amount of support and the more they keep coming to the games, the better we will play. Teams will be afraid to come and play here”.
