Valencia seized the 7DAYS EuroCup trophy and became the latest addition in next season’s 18-team EuroLeague, leaving space for four more teams to join.

EuroLeague will grow bigger next season, as this time around it’s known that the competition will feature 18 teams in total (instead of 16), which means that the regular season will grow to 34 games (as opposed to 30 with the new system), ahead of the playoffs and the Final Four.

Valencia joined as the fourth and final team from Spain, and the 14th team in total for the new season.

11 teams were already in place with their long-term contracts, plus Bayern and ASVEL that joined/will join with a two-year contract, and of course Valencia as the EuroCup champion.
