Thomas Heurtel will stay in Barcelona at least for two more seasons. According to Eurohoops sources, the French guard is ready to sign a 2+1 contract with FC Barcelona.
The new contract will pay him around 11 euros including taxes for the next three years if the option for the last season is picked up. The total net salary of Heurtel for those three seasons is expected to be more than five million euros.
Heurtel finished the season with an impressive showing in the Liga Endesa finals against Real Madrid. This turn of events is one more indication that Kostas Sloukas has decided to stay with Fenerbahce BEKO as Eurohoops has reported.
The 30 years old guard who left Istanbul and Anadolu Efes two years ago for Barcelona averaged in last season’s EuroLeague 10.4 ppg and 4.8 apg while shooting 45% in threes.
