Real Madrid and guard Fabien Causeur have agreed to sign a three-year extension according to Eurohoops sources. Causeur is expected to become the third Real Madrid player who signs an extension with the club in the 2019 offseason so far, following center Edy Tavares and swingman Jeff Taylor.

A veteran of eight EuroLeague years Causeur, 32, has been playing for Real Madrid since 2017-2018. During that season, the French guard helped Real win the 10th EuroLeague title in the history of the club by scoring a team-high 17 points in the Final against Fenerbahce Beko.

Causeur finished the 2018-2019 EuroLeague season averaging 5.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 14:05 over 35 games. He was a starter in 24 matches.
