After Janis Strelnieks’ deal with CSKA Moscow – as Eurohoops prior reported – Panathinaikos is looking for an addition in the guard position with Jimmer Fredette being the Greens’ main target.
Panathinaikos presented an offer to 30-year-old Fredette, as reported first by sdna.gr and confirmed by Eurohoops sources.
Fredette was selected with the 10th pick in the 2011 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and has played in the NBA with Kings, Bulls, Pelicans, Knicks, and Suns, while he spent the previous three seasons in the Chinese League with Shanghai Sharks.
This is not the first time that Panathinaikos wants to lure Fredette to Europe and it remains to be seen if this time will be a charm.
