Sergio Rodriguez has offers from Spanish EuroLeague clubs Baskonia and Valencia plus EuroCup’s Unicaja Malaga according to Spanish newspaper ABC. The Spanish guard is expected to become a free agent the following days since he and CSKA Moscow have decided to part ways.
ABC also reports that Real Madrid, Rodriguez’s former team in Europe before CSKA, won’t make a move to sign the player following the acquisition of Argentinian guard and ACB MVP Nicolas Laprovittola.
Rodriguez, 33, averaged 10.2 points and 4.5 assists in the 2018-2019 EuroLeague to help CSKA win the title. It was the second time he was crowned EuroLeague champion following 2015 when he claimed the title with Real.
