Zenit St. Petersburg announced the addition of American guard Austin Hollins. He signed a two-year deal with the Russian EuroLeague and VTB League club.
In 2018-2019, Hollins helped Rasta Vechta make the German League semifinals for the first time in club history. He averaged 16.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.8 assists in the BBL regular season plus 17.9 points, 2.3 steals, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in the playoffs
Hollins, 25, is the son of former NBA champion with the Portland Trail Blazers Lionel Hollins.
Prior to Vechta, Hollins played in Germany with the Giessen 49ers, plus Finland and France. He’s the son of former NBA champion and current coach Lionel Hollins.
