Wesley Johnson, the 4th pick of the 2010 NBA draft, signed with Panathinaikos OPAP for the next season.

The former player of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans and most recently of the Washington Wizards can provide an all-around game which will complement the shooting abilities of Panathinaikos‘ Jimmer Fredette.

SDNA first reported the deal between the Greens and Johnson.

On a wild EuroLeague offseason, which include names like Nikola Mirotic, Alex Abrines, and Kostas Koufos, Panathinaikos added one more former NBA player and provides the league with one more player who is familiar to US audiences.

In 609 career NBA games, Johnson averaged 7 ppg, 3 rpg, and 1.1 apg. He has also played nine playoffs games during his two years with the LA Clippers.

The official announcement of the deal is expected soon.
