Shane Larkin will play for Anadolu Efes the upcoming season, the Turkish club’s general manager Alper Yilmaz announced.
Larkin is signing a lucrative 1+1 contract with Efes. The deal includes an NBA opt-out option that the 26-year-old American guard can exercise in summer 2020.
Efes and Larkin had reached a principal agreement on a 1+1 deal in May, shortly after the EuroLeague Final Four. Larkin pushed Efes to the Final for the first time in the history of the club and completed the tournament with a record-breaking scoring output.
In Turkey, Larkin led Efes to winning the team’s first BSL championship title in 10 years. He claimed Finals MVP.
