After a season with many ups and downs, Zach LeDay will have the chance to demonstrate his talents in the EuroLeague as a member of Zalgiris Kaunas.

As the club announced: Zach LeDay becomes the final outside addition of Zalgiris Kaunas, strengthening the team’s front court. Having impressed with Olympiacos in the EuroLeague last season, the 25-year-old big man joins the Lithuanian champions on a 1+1 contract. He will be the final foreigner to join the team, as Zalgiris will round out the roster with local players.

LeDay started his professional career in Europe with a sting in Israel for Hapoel Galil Gilboa a season before.

The big man, standing at 202 cm, made his EuroLeague debut with Greek side Olympiacos and put up 9.7 points and 4.0 rebounds. He averaged 11.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in 18 minutes of action in the Greek top league.

In a video directed to Zalgiris fans, LeDay introduced himself to the public:

“I’m very hungry and ready to compete, battle to win championships, get to the EuroLeague Playoffs, get to the Final Four. Set goals high and achieve them. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the organizations and the program. I’m very excited to work with such prestigious coaches in a great organization and see the city of Kaunas. Looking forward to seeing the fans, supporting us in all the games and giving my all for the team and organization. Can’t wait to see you guys!”
