KIROLBET Baskonia picked up Nik Stauskas ahead of the 2019-20 edition of EuroLeague, the Spanish team announced on Thursday. The 25-year-old Canadian guard is set to introduce himself to the fans of Europe’s premier competition.

The Michigan alumni has only played in the NBA so far in his professional career. He was the 8th pick of the 2014 NBA draft and since took part in 335 NBA games between the Sacramento Kings, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Brooklyn Nets, the Portland Trail Blazers and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On his 2018-19 campaign, Stauskas participated in 44 Regular Season matches with the Blazers averaging 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per appearance. He then played in 24 games with the Cavs posting 5.5 points and 2 rebounds per contest.

Pierria Henry and Michael Eric are Baskonia’s previous summer additions. All three newcomers will combine EuroLeague with ACB during the 2019-20 season.
