Thomas Heurtel, who will miss the FIBA World Cup in China due to a knee injury, will undergo surgery as Barcelona announced Thursday.
Heurtel faced discomfort on his knee while preparing with the French National Team and his check-up revealed the injury. Barcelona’s statement also mentions that the estimated time for his return next season is to be evaluated.
That being said, the Spanish team will probably have to make a move in the transfers market until his comeback.
