Many absences for Khimki in the game.

Buducnost Voli beat Khimki Moscow 83 – 74 in a preparation game that took place in Krajinska Gora, Slovenia.

Scott Bamforth scored 21 points and Justin Cobbs 17 points for Buducnost. Anthony Gill and Dairis Bertans paced Khimki with 18 and 17 points respectively.

Khimki was without Jonas Jerebko, Jeremy Evans Chris Kramer who are expected to join the team in the following days. The Russian side was also missing Stefan Jovic, Sergey Karasev and Evgeny Valiev who are in China for the World Cup. Alexey Shved is injured while Timofey Mozgov will enter practices after undergoing some necessary medical examinations.

Buducnost is facing Nizhny Novgorod on Thursday (29/8) while Khimki will play against Slovenian team Primorsk.
