Zeljko Obradovic discussed the impact Pavlos Giannakopoulos had on his life.

The press conference prior to the second annual “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament was held on Saturday with head coaches and players of all four teams present. Former Panathinaikos OPAP and current Fenerbahce Beko head coach Zeljko Obradovic replied to a question on Pavlos Giannakopoulos underlining that he changed him as a person.

“Mr. Pavlos always tried to help anyone facing difficulties. He was very calm. He had various reactions, but in any kind of situation he calmed us making everything fine” he mentioned remembering Pavlos Giannakopoulos.

“Personally he changed me, he really changed me as a person and as a coach. I talked to him about a lot of things, not only basketball” Obradovic added, “He helped understand life better and become a better person.”
