CSKA Moscow outdid Olympiacos with a 91-66 victory at the Gomelsky Cup final, a few days ahead the tip-off of the new EuroLeague season.
Joel Bolomboy (MVP of the tournament) and Mike James led the Russian squad to this victory with 16 and 15 points each, as Will Clyburn and Johannes Voigtmann also finished in double digits with 11 and 10 points respectively.
On the other side of the court, Brandon Paul led Olympiacos with 13 points.
Earlier on, Promitheas Patras beat Unics Kazan with an 87-83 overtime victory at the Cup’s third-place game.
