Eurohoops’ tips for Round 6 of EuroLeague fantasy.

By Dimitris Minaretzis / info@eurohoops.net

After five rounds it’s difficult to collect all the big stars in one team, we know! Prices have gone up and now it’s the time to invest in budget players that can bring in sufficient scores.

In case you are looking for a top-class player, first it means you have successfully managed your budget and second, we can propose Nick Calathes (three homecourt games ahead of Panathinaikos), Nikola Milutinov (we expect that he will bounce back on Friday), but also Alexey Shved and Tornike Shengelia who need no further explanation.

Now on the medium-budget players, there are plenty of options:

  • Janis Timma (1,59)
  • Vladimir Lucic (1,67)
  • Zach LeDay (1,71)
  • Alec Peters (1,44)
  • Luis Scola (1,57)
  • Darrun Hilliard (1,42)
  • Brandon Paul (0,92)

Our team (currently ranked 102/1,843 teams of the official Eurohoops League)

Nick Calathes and DeShawn Thomas might have not been bold presences in the team for Round 5 though their overall consistency resulted in us keeping them aboard. Changing Printezis and Giffey with Mateusz Ponitka and Krunoslav Simon turned out to be a great choice.

Overall we won’t proceed to great changes for Round 6, due to the back-to-back games, but we will change Nihad Djedovic with Brandon Paul and Landry Nnoko with Bojan Dubljevic.
