With the deadline of player transfers between EuroLeague clubs expiring tomorrow, Olympiacos officially announced the release of Kevin Punter.
However, Punter is expected to stay part of the competition as a member of Crvena Zvezda.
The interest of the Serbian club was already known, Olympiacos initially didn’t want to part ways with the player, but things change in the last few hours.
Crvena Zvezda‘s offer to the player improved and considering also the fact that Punter wasn’t used in recent EuroLeague games by the Greeks, the Serbs are finally getting their man.
Punter will be reunited with coach Dragan Sakota. The latter coached Punter in 2017-2018 with AEK Athens, in the team’s run towards winning the Basketball Champions League and the Greek Cup.
