As Yahoo! Sports reported Milwaukee has traded forward Ersan Ilyasova to Detroit for Caron Butler and Shawne Williams in a move which will open up space in the salary cup of the Bucks.
Butler and Williams have non-guaranteed deals that will probably be waived, clearing significant salary cap space for the Bucks. Milwaukee could have as much as 22 million $ in cap space this summer.
The 28 years old Ilyasova’s contract has a 8.4 million $ team option in his contract for the 2015-16 season.
