The meeting between Aggelopoulos brothers, owners of Olympiacos, and Bryant Dunston was announced by the club and also the info that the Greek champs offered him a new contract. Which are the details of the offer and what can be considered the new key-point in Reds’ policy when they offer a contract to the foreign players?

In the summer of 2013 Olympiacos offered to Dunston a two year contract with a team option clause the next summer (as it happens with almost every foreign player) for 500.000 and 550.000 dollars relatively. Dunston agreed and signed.

According to Eurohoops’ sources, Olympiacos offered him for his new contract 1,4 mil. dollars, 700.000 for every season. The turning point in this offer is that both years are guaranteed without any opt out clause, which shows how much the team appreciates the American center. This is something really rare for Olympiacos.

Dunston is now on vacations and asked some days to think about the offer. According to Efes’ offer which is also leaked during the last days, Dunston will earn 400.000 dollars more in the next two years, but without having the second season of the contract guaranteed. There is a kick out clause in the summer of 2016.

The 29-year-old center hasn’t decided yet, but he will do that soon…
