Tibor Pleiss is leaving Barcelona and the next step for him will be the jump to the NBA. As “El Mundo Deportivo” reported, the Spanish club got the 625.000 US dollars buy out and the player is free to go.
As Eurohoops had revealed, the Jazz made contact with the player. Both Barcelona and Pleiss had decided to part ways by the end of the season and Bayern Munich could have been his European destination. However, the NBA called and that made things even more simple. Pleiss will became the third active German player of the American league after Dirk Nowitzki and Dennis Schroeder, or the fourth, if you also count Kris Kaman.
