Kostas Papanikolaou is currently in Greece, he is expected to be a member of the national team for the upcoming Eurobasket and speaking to the public television ERT3 he confirmed once more that he want to stay in the NBA.

As he explained when he was asked for his trade from Houston to Denver: “It’s natural to be traded in the NBA and it may not be the last time this happens. Everything changes from minute to minute. I want to be focused in the national team and then I will think about the upcoming season. Being in the NBA it’s a great experience. I wanted to live it. I am very happy and I am optimistic about my future in the NBA, even if my first season didn’t end the best way possible. I don’t feel that I have to prove something to anyone else than myself. I will fight to stay in the NBA”.
