Galatasaray is trying to form a strong team despite its strict bugdet. The team already signed Stephan Lasme, Caleb Green and Blake Schlib, there’s an ongoing push in order to get Huertas and according to Eurohoops sources, they also made an offer to center Joey Dorsey and also to guard Justin Dentmon.
The 32 years old center left Houston in a trade than send him to Denver and has a contract for next season for 1.015.421 dollars. However, if he gets a deal in Europe, his release from the Nuggets it’s a more than possible scenario.
Dorsey has already european experience as a member of Gaziantepspor, Barcelona, Laboral Kutxa and of course Olympiacos, where he was a part of the 2012 Euroleague winning team. According to Turkish sources, the offer to Dorsey is a sum around 700.000 dollars net.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray is still trying to lure Huertas and they hope that in the end they will get him in order to be the team’s leader and starting point guard.
