The first ever Slovenian who played in the NBA, Marko Milic, announced today his decision to retire from basketball. Born on May 1977 he had a full career, being a member of Real Madrid, a product of Union Olimpija Ljubljana and many Italian teams.

He was the number 33 pick of the 1997 draft and played for the Phoenix Suns. The last few seasons he was playing in Iran and Kuwait. Do you remember him dunking over a car?

Or playing in the NBA, even against the Croatian legend Stojko Vrankovic?
