When you start a game on the road with a 30-17 first quarter, it’s obvious that you have things under control. And that’s what happened in Limoges, as Anadolu Efes cruised to the 89-77 win over the home team.

Jon Diebler scored 21 points on 6/10 threes, Thomas Heurtel playing on french soil had a double double with a record number of assists (10 p., 15 as.) and everything went according to coach Dusan Ivkovic’s plan with his team shooting 15/27 threes. Despite 20 points by Heiko Schaffartzik, Limoges couldn’t react and the Turks led by double digits for the rest of the game.

Alex Tyus (10 p.), Birkan Batum (11 p.), Bryan Dunston (10 p.) and Dario Saric (11 p.) also scored in double digits for the winners, while Efes had 27 assists and 19 turnovers. Those are not bad numbers, considering the fact that Limoges finished the game with 14 assists and 19 turnovers…
